Our crew positions are outside, in the elements, very physical, and all positions require hustle and fast paced work. We all work hard (crew, supervisors and managers) to timely complete our projects within budget quickly, efficiently and safely. We typically work Monday-Friday from 7:00am until 4:00pm, start and end times will vary depending upon weather, traffic, job site, type of task and scope of work. Some landscape and hardscape construction projects may require overtime work including Saturdays. We encounter a variety of weird bugs, flying insects, reptiles, tree rats, wild chipmunks, ducks, occasional horses & donkeys, and domestic pets, of course. Crew members, supervisors and even managers walk up to 10 miles a day, or more, uphill and sometimes on uneven terrain, often carrying, pushing, or pulling gear, equipment, materials, or debris and bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling up to 8 hours a day in weather varying from cold to hot while working in wind, dust, pollen, rain, mud, weeds and nasty, extreme environments. But, we have fun.
